This photograph captures the drama of a pit stop during the drenching rain of the 1954 Le Mans race. Driver Tony Rolt can be seen hurrying along side his car and co-driver Duncan Hamilton, with Lofty England in the background. This would be one of the closest finishes ever at Le Mans.
