Originally commissioned by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust as a set of calendar illustrations, this is a pen and ink drawing of a 1950 Jaguar MkV Drop Head Coupe. Together with the saloon, these replaced the ageing pre-war carry over "Mk IV". Jaguar had now established itself as a maker of well proportioned and elegant cars.
