Originally commissioned by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust as a set of calendar illustrations, this is a pen and ink drawing of the 1906 Daimler DU541, 'Yellow Peril' that was originally a Daimler works car, a sister to the one which famously set the ‘Fastest Time Of Day’ in the very first hill climb at Shelsley Walsh in 1905.
