This beautiful artwork was part of a series originally commissioned by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust as a set of calendar illustrations. This pen and ink drawing of the 1928 Swallow bodied Austin Seven shows the embellishments that William Lyons introduced; such as the chromed rounded radiator, the domed front wings and bulbous art deco tail, that clearly signalled his intention to produce luxurious vehicles that represented excellent value for money.
